This is Harry and Edna:

Harry and Edna

Harry and Edna are the brains behind the splendid Home Front Friends.  Through their website, Harry and Edna offer a range of historical interactive talks, educational workshops, living history re-enactment performances and museum interpretation.

There are some great photos on the site and on their MySpace page that show both their love for the 1930s, 1940s and early 20th century social history as well as their terrific sense of humour:

I’m particularly impressed by their attention to detail.  I tend to be a bit of a stickler for that sort of thing myself when it comes to my act, but Harry and Edna’s devotion is exceptional.  It isn’t just about playing dress-up – they have an obvious passion for their subject which is fantastic.

I’m delighted to have been able to add them to my links page and urge you to go say “what ho!” at the earliest opportunity!
